About

Experience
I have been freelancing as a Creative since graduation six years ago, beginning with agency experience in packaging and branding for premium alcohol brands. Then I worked on national PR campaigns for major FMCG accounts, furthering my expertise by re-branding a major lighting manufacturer. I now work on video and special effects as well as WordPress sites, email circulars, SEO and animated Flash banners. I have a solid working knowledge of digital media production techniques working as a Graphic Designer and Art Director on a range of creative ideas.

Comus Productions | April 2009 – present
Art Director
I lead pitches for hybrid and integrated campaigns, such as ‘virals’ and banners for SMEs, like Snack Media and Muzicall. I like developing and managing relationships, producing broadcast video and tracking technology to approach clients in Fashion such as for the ‘Love Bullet’ by Jegede and also for the local Community I grew up in, such as Haringey Borough’s ‘Codebreaka’ project.

Aurora Lighting, marketing dept. | Jan 2007 – April 2009
Creative
Based within an infinity room with a Hasselblad camera, I created a full-scale re-brand across all product ranges introduce Low Energy and LED innovations. I designed brochures from cover to cover, extending into the front-end of a new e-commerce site, with banners and email circulars. Having then pitched and produced a Corporate Showreel, I continue to retain Aurora’s updated DVD productions, working for Comus – recently doing a French version of the Aurora DVD V2 in September 2010.

Borkowski | May 2004 – July 2006
Graphic Designer
Replacing Art Director Hermeti Balerin (now at Mother) I took on work to produce all designs on campaigns for: Hovis, Bisto, Vodafone, Tiscali, Thorntons, Norwich Union, Complan Active, Virgin Megastores, Virgin Digital, Lucozade Hydro Active, Mr. Kipling and West End shows. This was a fast-paced agency environment full of fun and live action.

Claessens International | Sept. 2003 – Many 2004
Junior Designer
After graduating I found a placement working within New Business for Mr. Claessens, who dominated his market for over 2 decades, inventing Bombay Sapphire. Learning here, I saw sophisticated traditional craft and techniques within premium packaging and design, used to sustain timeless alcoholic brands, from Guinness to Chivas Regal.
